The autumn opening of Jyväskylä Art Street is being celebrated for the fourth time! The program once again has a diverse offering for all ages, from babies to grandparents. Get to know artists and art spaces, learn new things about our cultural environment on guided tours, experience film, dance, word art and do it yourself. The autumn opening of Art Street is being implemented by a large number of free art field actors and individual artists, as well as the City of Jyväskylä and the University of Jyväskylä.
Jyväskylä's Art Street runs from Kirkkopuisto to the Aalto2 Museum Centre for about 1.2 km, a few blocks wide. You will find almost a hundred different art and cultural attractions on Art Street. At www.jyvaskylantaidekatu.fi i.e. on the homepage of this site you will find a map service that allows you to explore destinations by theme, which are architecture, art & design, with a dog, with the whole family, Finnish Athens, eat & drink and events.
The program will be completed by the end of August.
